somebody on another forum told me ground chuck was good for monitors. Now if this is true how would i do this.do i just get a bowl and set a small clup in there,

Ground chicken and turkey is pretty much a recommended diet for people that got fear of bugs or are breeders.... that's pretty much it.

Bugs are usually recommended since they keep your monitor active.

no offense Large cichlids...........but this is the kind of info your supposed to find out before buying stuff.........

yea but its kinda impossible to know every single thing before u own a reptile.

Some of the stuff you are finding out and the stuff people are telling you... I already found out on my first day of researching Nile Monitor three year ago...

just stick to insects....try like cockroaches and earthworms

i'm not sure that it is a very good food for monitors but i know it isn't bad for them. it probably won't hurt to vary the diet a little by giving it a small amount as a treat every once in a while.

also eggs. not chicken if you can get them. like duck or quail.

I don't even know what ground chuck is! lol, i feel stupid...

Well don't you think that the diet is one of the MAIN THINGS that you should know? What have you been feeding it these past weeks? This is a bad excuse. You will only grow up when you don't use excuses, and stepping up to the plate and take the bashings you deserve.
