i have 3 in my 125G one is 7 inch 6 1/2 inch 5 inch i hope they get as big as they get in the kapuas river in borneo

I was lucky and picked one up in a deal, he is about 12 to 13 inches now, he is housed in a 125 with a assortment of fish from flagtails to pbass and a dorado minds his own business and he is still growing sorry dont have a pic

I've kept many over the years(none right now). I had about 3-4 of them that I got between 10inches -12inches. I did see one at a zoo that was 2 feet (no joke).

yep, keep in mind this is at a zoo where they have tanks the size of houses

Zoo aquariums teach you alot about fishes true size. I've seen 6foot Pacus, 20+inch Oscars and other fish we buy thinking they only get to a foot in length.

What is a reasonable price for a 12” Bala shark? I have three this size in a 400 gal tank but would like to reduce the bio load and make room for some other fish. There is a local fish auction in the next couple of weeks and I am planning on taking them there. I can place a minimum bid on the fish.
