Note about my last post. I'm sorry for my choice of words. I was tired and in a hurry to go to bed and didn't think what I was posting.

I got upset with the dis-respect and being called a liar over some of the posts.

I have nothing to gain by making stories up. I don't gain fame or fortune by saying such things. The biggest reason I came to this site was to help people understand fish better( from what I've seen and experienced). Sure I'm not perfect and make mistakes, but I'm an honest man... far better then most( in another words I don't like to lie to people). I really did see these fish at the sizes I mentioned.

Again I'm sorry if I offended anyone by my words.

Chill man. I'm not calling you a liar at all. I am just stating all of the reasons that the photo doesn't stack up. If I stand six feet away and take a pic of the reflection of my arm (I didn't say it wasn't your arm), it won't appear to be the same size as it would standing a foot away. So the reflection doesn't prove (or disprove) anything. If you say it was six foot, then that is fine, I am saying that the photo doesn't prove it, which is also fine.

We are all here to the same end, and we all have things we can learn.

i got 4 bala sharks, call em silver sharks here,but any way my biggest guy is 35cm not sure how many inches and the other guys are from 15-20cm ill post some pics tomorrow

one thing i defintily noticed from my balas is they hate having their picture taken

I've seen a Bala at Capital City Aquarium in Sacramento that was easily 16". They had him a their 1,000 Gallon display tank.

The biggest one I've ever owned was 9". Pix of my Balas below.

i used to have 7 - 8 or 9" bala's gave them up because they outgrew my 90. when i got my 150g i tried to get them back from the guy i gave them to he told me they were all dead . would love to get more
