I built it?

I hope you know that BT really aren't good swimmers not in fact they have een known to drown quite easily too
I would go with the pond but might add some large stones to it and driftwood
also I would either have a large pump or have it plumed for easy water changes

Yeah i have read that, and have some plans for big logs and branches over the pond/tank. I am also planning on building a built in sump inside the enclosure (hidden and out of sight) and drilling a drain plug for easy water change.

WOW, thanks that means a lot. Considering this is the first thing I have ever built, and to say it's professional.. Well that's awsome

update, just went to home depot, and found a 7'x4'x 3/4" acrylic sheet, going to buy it tomorrow and hopefully use it as the front panel on the enclosure..

Nice cage. What are you lining the part of the cage where the dirt will be sitting? I am also getting a 8' x 4' cage built for my sav monitors. At the moment I am going to go with rhino liner.
