Starting to build my Black throat's nrew enclosure next month.
Going to measure 12'Lx50"wx 6' h with a nice 300+ gallon pond in it. I don't know why but my BT thinks he is a water monitor..He sleeps in his water bowl sometimes and loves to eat fish, like actually dive off his rock or ledge and swim after them...
But anyway I will start the build next month, not like the croc monitor enclosure, the guy I was supposed to get the pair from flaked and got all "jew" on the price and wanted a rediculous 8 grand for them.
anywho Pictures up next month will be three story's and have a nice 300+ gallon heated pond with some nice "feeder" cichlids and other fish in there.
Will have an underground burrow, since I am building it as it will lay somewhat on a stand to retain heat and humidity, but will have an underground burrow with an acrylic viewing window, and then a middle feeding/basking and swimming area and then some branches and logs and ledges for the top part. This is going in my garage so it won't be huge! He already roams my house and backyard so it will be only a winter/ and night home.
