Nice cats...the hybrid is gonna b a looker when hes bigger, alot of them arent that light colored :)...thats a big ole head on the tsn lol nice work, im pretty sure its a facitatum but possibly a recticulatum due to that head size and dark brown coloration. Very hard to tell even at this size, my recticulatum didnt really blossom until he hit 30". Its amazing how much their pattern changes even on a monthly basis. I still have a couple tsn myself that are in the debatable stage 20-28" so only time will tell.

I'm loving that hybrid It looks better everytime i see it nice work dudefish look forward to updates :)

Just wow I love the look of your tsn/rtc hybrid, I have one myself in my outdoor pond that just broke the 12" mark it's strange how much different they look though my hybrid has an all black top and a lot of spotting on his side, he looks like his main parental gene was the Rtc while yours looks more Tsn prominent, I'll try to post a pic!

It is an interesting difference but I think in the same tank, they'd look significantly more alike. OP's hybrid looks abnormally lighter-colored than usual, which may or may not indicate anything. His substrate is on the light-colored side too, so that is likely to play a part.

yea my hybrid sometimes gets dark colored sometimes but hes usually light coloured and youve got a nice hybrid
