Monster Cichla on black gravel

lovely tank and fish, wish id gone for black gravel, although the white does make everything look bigger!

Awesome tank and collection, thanks for sharing. The black gravel looks great, well worth the effort. I've never seen an air stone like that. What is it called? What kind of pump do you have pushing all that air?

i said the same thing it looks awesome and kicks the water around in the video that was posted
that tank is awesome someday mine will get big someday :popcorn:
 
Dang those mono's are beastly! Especially when compared to that pinima. SOunds like your on the same wc schedule as me TIm :)

Thanks mate. It's an 8" bubble disk with a 30 litre per min pond air pump.

Just takes patience. I bought the monos big but I've had the pinima and kelberi since 3".

These are the biggest cichla I've seen in person. The pinima is as long as most the monos but they are just so deep.
The water changes are definitely worth it.
