Got bit by one of my piranha once, the fish was about 4 or 5 inches at most. Had 3 of them in the tank, usually they went to the other side when I was rearranging the plastic plants etc. but one snuck over and bit me to my surprise I yanked my hand out fast. The type of bite was not what I expected, I was lucky it did not take a chunk out but the bite was exactly what you would get if you took a razor blade and made a slice to your finger. Also lucky he was not too mad the bite was not extremely deep but deep enough. For large piranha its best not to take any chances and put in a seperator if needed.
I was trying to feed my lion fish a shrimp one day and my 2 foot snowflake sprinted from the other side of the tank (150g) and latched onto my finger. like a fool I shook my hand in fear, his teeth sliced down my finger like razor blades....
Got bitten by my spotted gar, nasty bite it was bleeding... It was like a bunch of needles jabed in your finger.. He's 14" Very aggressive guy.. He keeps banging angain's the glass as soon as anyone is infront of the tank..
