Monster Fish Bites??

My 11 inch jardini has nipped my finger a number of times while I was hand feeding it. It only felt like a pinch.
 
Been bit by a common wolf fish that would NOT let go. It was like a pitbull. I was also bit by a Vampire tetra. Its tooth broke off in my finger. I think that is it for me.

how big was the hoplias? did its teeth penetrate deep? under what odd circumstances would a hydro/rhaphio bite you?
 
keep getting bitten by my big pbass -- bloody things always hang on to the middle finger --- get some nasty scratches that bleed quite a lot ... redtail often tries to get my fist in its gob - usually when I am holding a sardine trying to stop the pbass from nicking it !!!

Been bitten by loads of fish - needed 4 stiches when I was bitten by a 20lb pike - it was my own fault for sticking a bloody great hook in it in the first place !!!

A big Channa micropeltes got me about 11 or 12 years ago. Also an Undulate Triggerfish got a tip of my finger . While noodling for catfish ( catching them w/your hands and wrestling them out of the water during spawning season.) I got whipped pretty good by some BIG Flathead catfish(Pylodictus olivaricus). Lots of scratches and bruises. :y220e:

this noodling sounds intriguing. Elaborate, please! Do you wear gloves and do this in warm water, or what? Why do you only do it during spawning season?
