I am originally from Northern Virginia and lived there until 2008. I've been to many of the stores mentioned and it is fun to hear about them again. Always loved House of Tropicals.

To get a little off topic... I now live in Houston. The aquarium hobby is huge here (possibly because there is a large Asian population here) and the many fish stores are really good. This picture is from Fish Gallery and it shows their biggest display aquarium. Every time I visit the store I spend at least 10 minutes looking at this aquarium.

Dont believe the hype lol edens is the best place to get flower horns in our area. Nice selection and great prices. First three pics big shortbody $139. Assorted 4 inch red dragond $39 i almost grabbed the last one with the double flower line but i dont keep cichlids anymore.
