ive got a 55g that im considering converting to a monster fish tank. im not sure what to get for it so i figured that maybe here i could find some good advice. id prefer something that stays under 10inches so that the fish can be comfortable in its home. im open to all suggestions EXEPT: red tail cats, arowana, jags, FHs, and any other fish that will eventually get to big because i have NO INTENTIONS of buying a larger tank.

What would you put in there if you could put any size fish? I usually go from there and get a fish that won't outgrow the tank... like if you really liked RTC, get another catfish that is similar but doesn't get huge.

to be honest i really dont know. theres too many different fish out there, i just want something that is interesting with some personality and some color would be nice too.

you could look into red wolffish or certain pike cichlids. pikes are full of personallity and are just plain awesome lol

Green terror, jack dempsey, pictus...

150 neons. Their school will approximate a large fish...

i thought wolffish got large.... or is the red like a smaller varient? and ive slightly looked into the pikes (crenicichla right?) and they seem interesting. ill look into them a little more.
