Monster for 55g?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The idea that something has to be super big or look like some off the wall alien to be monster is completely asinine, in my opinion.

That being said: Tiger Barbs, Leopard Ctenopoma, a FW Puffer, or maybe a Black Tail shark... not the most colorful fish, but those are just afew I like. There are lots of possibilities out there.

Here is a "mini-monsters" thread. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=253800&highlight=mini+monster

Good luck.

A shoal of Tiger Barbs would be cool.

Smaller pikes, Salvini pair, JD, HRP Pair, and i like the Exodon idea too. These are just a few options. There are many things that you could do.

That was a not a definitive statment, a minnow with spunk could be called a monster. I just think the "lol itz n0t bigz n spikie" mentality is... well asinine?

Yeah and a marshmallow could be called a monster. You seem to lean towards all fish being monsters :screwy: Maybe a look at the definition of "monster" could help refine your ability to categorize.
