He will eat anything I put in there including krill, bloodworms and pellets if he gets the chance.

Are they hard to find in the U.S? I hope you find one, they are really cool.

Hey Red, you saw this last night. Tankmates are geo balzanhi, thin bar dats, senegal, motoro, 3 silver aros, 1 black aro, florida gar and clown knife. All juvies though. Feeding him shrimps, black worms, brine and beefheart.

Has anyone seen the Tatooed Golden Giants yet?
Saw some pics in Practical Fishkeeping today...purple and pink spots tatooed onto the fish...
What are your thoughts?
 
Don't buy those tatooed fish, when less people are buying them hopefully the producers of this animals treated with whatever for selling purpose only, understand that pretty much all the time the natural form looks better. IMO anyway.

But maybe this isn't the right threat for that kind of dicussion.
 
Sorry..meant to also say that I didn't in any way condone the practice...just wanted to see what reactions were.
I would never buy a fish that had been dyed,painted or tatooed myself.I'd rather have the real thing.

Ok, going back on track,.. I love this Gourami.. nice long trailers and the colors are beggining to come out. This pic washed out the color though.
