Those are sweet looking big Jags........I am with JAY1320.......I can't wait to have a tank large enough to have Jags like that in the future........that will be sweet.......good luck with all the babies I am sure you will have in there!

jaguars are VERY easy breeders, just short of being big convicts in that regard IME. Put any male and female together- Blam..next month..Blam...

How big of a tank should you have to pair up jags?

they are going to breed, just look at your females belly- unless you fed her a whole lotta feeders, that's egg's waiting to be fertilaized...

I had a 13inch male (Xanthic) Jag
put in a 10inch female Jag, 3 days
down the line aggs, ever once a
month from then on aggs..........

yes Jags are easy to get to breed.

XR is completely right about jags how they pop fry out like no tomorrow. I would say they are more so than cons. Even though mine took about 1.5 months to lay, I now have over 1200+ managuense growing. It's insane how they lay but I think I take the cake on most eggs at one single time. I have never seen a manny lay as many eggs as my female does. She lays about 2000 each time and my male can fertilize all but about 35 no lie. I'll find pics.

Oh and mine lay every 2-3weeks.
