Monster Loss!

So Kirk Yellowcat Yellowcat I assume this is the one that we thought broke 2' but it had not really, just reached 2'. I need it for clarity of future citations. Not that it matters that much but it is always good to be precise than approximate.

Yes Viktor, the same fish. Once they reach a certain length they grow more in girth over time it seems. Even though at 24" I know you're reminded of the ongoing disagreement with folks at PlanetCatfish that show the species in the Cat-eLog as growing to only 11.8 inches and being smaller than c. fowleri, which is obviously untrue in both cases and very misleading to those doing research before thinking of acquiring one...

Hey guys, would you mind if I took the pic and reposted on PCF (with credit to you) and asked the PCF to revise the max length for C. apurensis?

Or you could do it too, interest permitting.

Go ahead. I don't mind at all

jlnguyen74 jlnguyen74 Yellowcat Yellowcat Jools (PCF owner) has made the change and is asking if you John would donate the photo for the Cat-eLog. You will retain the copyright, needless to say.

That will be fine! Thank you for making it happens!
