Monster PBs caught in 2007

Last Saturday's catches while hunting for PB bigger than 22 inches.

# 32 monster # 154 total, female 17 inches

# 33 monster # 155 total, male 19 inches

Any tips for catching pbass this time of year? They aren't biting like they do during summer. What bait do you use? Any specific place or type of place you fish from?

Any tips for catching pbass this time of year? They aren't biting like they do during summer. What bait do you use? Any specific place or type of place you fish from?

I don't fish for them during the cold months. They tend to go to deeper quarters, this time of year. A boat will help and so will live shiners for bait.

Mackerels, Blue Fish, King Fish on the salty side of Miami are much better targets this time of year.

They're doing great, thank you. Just delivered 200 of them to the wholesaler.
