MONSTER POWER AT AN ENERGY EFFICIENT LEVEL

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have the quiet one 9000 in the sump for my 220. i was (and still am) quite unhappy with the amount of noise the pump makes. After a few months, I have noticed a significant drop in gph, but there wasn't any drop in noise.

Oh, I have it submerged, too. If you run it out of the water, it is even louder.

You must have a dud. I can't hear any of mine even if I put my ear up to the sump.

REALLY!!!!???? I ordered it from fosters and smith. I got it and put it in the main tank( before it was set up) with, like, 10 inches of water in there and fired it up. It was loud, so I called them. They sent me another one, and it sounded the same. I figured that it was just loud. 2 duds in a row??!!

Must be, I seriously can't hear any of mine

My little giant sounds like a tornado compared to them

Don't restrict the input line, the reason the output line is smaller is to increase the pressure. If you want more flow, then go with a 1.5"-1.5". If you want more pressure, then keep it at 1.5"-1".
