looks awesome and nice fish that is gonna look so sweet when it has the tank on it and im sure it will be a showpiece to not be matched

Thanks a lot for your kind words. The only way I think it could be unmatched is if I could figure out a way to successfully kep a big male dovii in there too.:)

Here's one I shot about three months ago.

The jag eggs are hatching. This time I'll keep some fry to grow out a little. At about an inch, I'll grade and trim down the numbers. I'm hoping to get another couple of good looking specimens to go in the new tank. I'll leave some in with the parents as well. I'm still curious to see if any can survive. I doubt it, but it happened with a single Convict fry. We'll see.:)

Thanks again for looking and thanks for this great forum.

The jag wrigglers are still doing fine. Here's some new shots from today.

Here's where I get a safe live food supply from for the big boys. The Chain Gang, a.k.a. 14 Convicts breeding like it's going out of style in a 14g....
DSCF3229.jpg

I raised these Convicts from fry. They've been together well over six months and have been spawning since about an inch. Zero fish losses in that time. Here's the biggest male...

And a couple of other pickups I made today. First is the 2" L-14 Goldie Pleco, rare in my area...
DSCF3213.jpg

I also got 5 tiny HRP fry. Here's one...
DSCF3210.jpg

The pleco and the HRP's came from a member in my local aquarium club (also a member here: wataugachicken). I love local clubs. They are a great way to aquire hard to get stuff through trading and whatnot. If you're not a member of one, join up. If there's not one in your area, start one.

Thanks for looking and thanks for this great forum. You guys are my constant inspiration.;)

I syphoned off some jag fry to grow out.

Tiny hadn't made any improvements in the four weeks since his injury. It was time for me to do right by him. I used clove oil and he went to sleep peacefully. He was my favorite and I'll miss him. :( He was 14" from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail. Here's my little photo tribute...

R.I.P. Tiny, you'll be missed. :(
