I just ordered 1L of Purigen because it lasts six months and 500g will do the whole tank(2000L).
I also think the tannins will leach for some time (12+ months) due to the sheer size of the logs and this way I won't have to exchange carbon every 4 weeks.
I am keeping my fingers crossed anyway.
