Talk to Not Just Fish (Kevin) forum sponser. They can make that tank and give you a price shipped to your door that will probably beat that Ebay companys price.

Thanks...Do they make good tanks??? I dont think I've really seen anybody with a tank form there so I wouldnt know... Do you know where they are located?? Thanks....

I am interested to know what this member was having a problem with??? was it bad??? And yes i have been talking to Chris and he has been very helpful.......

That member may have been me. My 300 is made by them and all I can say is that the craftsmanship of my tank is awesome.

I bought my tank used from a guy who owned it for 6 months before deciding it was too much tank for him. He didn't have the lids so I called MCA to see if I could order them. They told me they must be ordered at the time the tank is ordered as the knockouts at the top are used to make the lids. They apologized for not having them for me. They then encouraged me to call them if I had ANY questions at all when I was ready to set my tank up. I encountered nothing but professionalism and caring from them when I called.

Quality and Customer service. It's hard to find both these days but this company does.

Zerg(doesn't post much) owns that big tank in that thread. Also I and a few others plan on going through them for our Monster acrylic tanks I think. I'm going to order sometime this year from them. I'm not sure who if anyone else has a monster tank from them as not alot of people have 500-600g+ tanks. And some that do buy them used.

I wanted to ask this question to fellow MFKer's;

I am currently planning to buy a 8'x4'x2' or 30" and was looking at this company:
http://www.midwestcustomaquariums.com/warranty.html

Does anybody have any experience with them and more importantly does anybody have anything bad to report about them??

Also can anyone recommend some good Arcylic Aquarium Manufactures near Philthadelphia that make quality products for a good price.....???

Thanks guys........;)

We got our 300 gallon from them (through eBay). We've been very happy with our tank. Chris went the extra mile for us and made recommendations for an appropriate wet/dry filter (we were newbies and didn't know what to do for filtration). Read the warranty requirements very carefully. They have a lifetime warranty against leakage, but there are conditions which must be met.

Seams appear well constructed, top edges and openings are all rounded over and smooth, overflows are more than adequate and blend well with the appearance of the tank.

And as pacu mom stated, Chris will always go the extra mile to assist you. Even if you are the second owner of the tank.

I just realized that i did try to get a quote form him... I sent him two emails and he has not got back to me yet... I hope he writes me back soon.

You said he would be cheaper than others...?? Do you know where he is located?? or another way to get in touch with them???

I wondering how they ship?? We may be able to get cheaper shipping if we order out tanks together... Ur in the Philly area right??? Maybe we could work something out....., I'm planning or making a purchase this spring....., to early summer.... I wonder how long it would take for him to build and ship these Monster tanks...?? Let me know what you think... Thanks for the help....

I pm'd him and he got back to me fairly quick with in a few days.. Maybe try pm'ing him again if it's been a while maybe he just got busy. I don't know where he's located but I think Li(neoprodigy) knows him..

As far as price. I had him qoute a 8x4x2 shipped it seemed like it would be cheaper than the ebay vendor with the same size by the time shipping added on to it. Besides I tried to get a qoute from an ebay vendor in cali and they wouldn't ship to the east coast.

Lewis23 also got a qoute from Not Just Fish and glasscages I believe and they were around the same prices but the glasscages tank would have to be picked up at a local show where Not Just Fish would deliver to your door via freight. Big plus because acrylic scratches so easily, and I don't want to move a 8x4 tank further than I have to as I don't have a huge truck or multiple people available whenever. Me honestly I would rather go with a manufactuer that uses their own tanks for fish, and one that is a part of this forum.

As far as combined shipping thanks for the offer. But I don't know at what point this year I'll be ordering. I might wait til later in the year to order and I'm a good ways from phli.. I'm in central pa(which pa is a huge state). I don't know build time either. You'd have to ask him. Just putting it out there because he's a forum vendor, and when I do order it will no doubt be from him.
