Awesome collection!!!

Thanks. I'm an "aquaholic" too;)!

I've gotten a couple pms asking questions about the setup, tankmates, etc. so I will just post the info here:

The big tank is Keyhole shaped, 72in long and the shortest width is 32in and the longest is 44in and about 30in tall (I think)...Around 320g or so.

The fahaka and angels are in a 55g low-light planted for now.

The one with the discus, hystrix rays, and Mbu is a 60x18x24 (120g) for now.

The tank mates in the big tank are:
8 Dats from 6-14inches
20in High Shine Silver Aro
12in Odoe Pike
12in Ven. Pike
12in Florida Gar
11in Rhino Pleco
(3) 8-10in Myleus Schomburgkiis
11in Aparicio Ray
9in Hybrid Ray
6in Western Spiny Softshell Turtle

Filtration: (big tank)
1 Pond Master filter with 750gph Pump
1 750gph free standing pump (for circulation)
1 450gph pump with bell fountain (for O2 aeration)
2 free standing FX5s
1 FX5 plumbed into a Laguna Waterfall spillway (made for outdoor ponds) where more bio filtration and my heaters are kept. I have 4 300w heaters in the waterfall spillway container.

Food: (I mix it up)
Pellets (The Dats have not taken to pellets yet)
Squid
Market Shrimp
Nightcrawlers
Freeze Dried Krill
Tilapia
Superworms
Live crappie minnows appx. once a month

I do (1) 50% waterchange on each tank a week. The temp stays between 83-85 degrees (F), about 79 on the 55g though (Planted). Sometimes I feed heavy on one day and then skip a day of feeding.

that awesome keep us regularly updated

nice! where did you get a "Keyhole" shaped tank? who made that and where did you get the notion to do that? i've been starting to feed heavier, since my fish are growing and can actually eat the heavier feedings? i'm skipping a day, also. i'm fedding every other day and they seem to be fine.

Got the keyhole tank from a fellow MFKer a while back. It is a D.A.S. tank (Dutch Aquarium Systems). They usually set up pet stores so this tank is actually a commercial tank though they do sell tanks for the home aquaria. Though these tanks come with filtration systems, this one did not have one so I took the FX5s from some other tanks I had going.

The waterfall idea came from a pond set up that I saw which used it. My tank is somewhat like a pond and I wanted to have that look so I set it up as such...

As far as feeding, my fish will eat until they can't so I just alternate foods and skip a day sometimes and they're always fine.

My set up is a little different now but here is some pics when I first set up the tank...

Ahhh OK. I've seen one of these in one of my LFS' You're right, it's almost a combination of a tank and pond. That's cool. Well, you got a nice set up. Congrats and thanks for the info.
