What model Xtreme Biofilter do you have? I was thinking about checking one out but the smallest I can find is for 3000 gallons...

Whats the deal with the hot water?? in Oz ive never heard of anyone using hot water to fill tanks??? We use heaters in winter tho

my tapwater is 55deg F. cant use that to replace 500 gallons. i have to heat it to fill the tank up

there is a hot water line and a cold water line fed to the tank. i adjust the valves on the line to get the temp i want and viola! its not different than a sink or a faucet.

thats the one i have. i run it with the smallest media and a Sequence high pressure pump rated for 3000 gph
