MONSTER WATER CHANGE in a MONSTER TANK!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Kinda surprised you haven't set it up for a drip system so you don't ever have to do wc's again. Although, as easy as yours appear to be, maybe it doesn't make a big difference...

Sweet tank and stock though :).

Very cool.
I really like the hot water heater. For now I use my resivoir cause I always run out of hot before it's full. But after a day with three heaters the resivoirs ready to do another water change. I use big pumps to make my job easier. Still not nearly as easy as yours.

Amazing fish also. I really like the setup.

thats the way to go, i hate doing water changes in 180 just about every otherday. its in the garage and i have to walk up and down the stairs six times with 2 5gallon buckets. I bet it would be miserable if i had to change the water in something different

Geez it must suck not being able to use the hose lol i walk thru the house with the hose still connected to the outlet, beer in hand, put the hose in, disconnect the outlet to start the syphon, finish beer, reconnect hose to outlet add prime & drink another beer while filling :D Grab another beer and move onto the next one all done and dusted in under 10 mins :D:D:headbang2mind you i can end up remarkably inebriated using this system

IDK if this has been asked I didn't read the whole thread. But do you ever have issues with fish jumping? I've had a few fish that went nuts when you took the water level down low.

i have had issues with a large mono jumping around when the water was too low. after doing it a few times he got used to it. i bring it down from like 32" to 10". 10" keeps them covered and comfy.
