The little guys are doing well. They have grown considerably however are still small...lol Seems like it's taking forever but remember I got them super small at around an inch, their pushing 3" now and eating like pigs. I just moved them from the 10g seen below now into a 50g last night... Their loving all the room and decor and appear very happy. I'll post an update in about two more weeks.

Sorry to burst your bubble. But those do not look like xingu cichla, from who did you purchase these from? If you don't mind me asking.
They defiantly are, so your not bursting any ones bubble. I seen the parents myself and know my supplier personally. Also, there are about half dozen MFK Members on here that also got some from the same batch these came from. So now you know what a baby fry Xingu looks like at 2.5 - 3 inches. You should feel educated now.
