***lil Update vid*** (this was shot more as an update for my two hybrid peacock bass for the cichla forum but there's some good footage of the pima here too) - This was taken two days ago now, since the pima has developed what I believe is fin rot in his tail. I have since removed him into a QT tank and have been medicating. He's doing great and is eating like a horse even with his current condition. I caught it very early and already almost all signs of it is gone, however he will remain in QT for another 6 days minimum to finish his full treatment. I also took care of the fin rots root cause as well. Couple things contributed to it I believe, I remedied what I could. All in all the lil guy's doing very well.

That fish is a spaz. Are you worried at all that a bass might try to eat him? I know me looking at the vid I would be worries about a bass taking a bite looks like he is scared of them.

hahahaha...No, if I thought for a sec that one of those two lil cichla could even mouth the pima I wouldn't have placed them in the same tank - Although like I said above the pima is in a tank by his lonesome now though & I'll probably keep him that way till he hits that 10" mark.

That is a really really cool video.

Thanks I thought so too, a few real cool fish in it IMO. :naughty:

At what size do you plan on putting the pima in your big pool?

Don't derail the thread bro by pitching yourself - BTW fish palace is super high in their prices and so is Cameron IMO - I have a supplier that beats all hands down in the state! PM me for details -

Sweet video Monster. Some great, healthy looking fish in there. ID on that perch - is that a Nile or something else? Korean Perch is a dream fish of mine.

Shameless self promotion, gotta love it. Sounds like if the lfs scene doesn't cut it, I can count on some fellow MFK'ers to fill the void. Bring on Denver!
