i haf seen a shovel nose here in for abt 20 Singapore dollars.. and red tailed cats for the same price..
i will try to source for the tigirinus and the jurunese

Ya bro if you can't afford the tig get the juru. I've actually seen a few nice jurus but with tigs they always looks good. I'm actually picking up a juru for my aro tank. Just remember the juru can hit 3ft but the tig will most likely stay around 2ft.

In a 6 foot tank oscars will be fine. If you do end up gettign a Jur try and keep the PH around 6.5 any higher than the and they become very sensitive and die. If you want a bichir. Get one of the smaller ones Mabe a lap or a delhezi. But be sure to get all the fish around the same size or they will eat each other.

^ crap really? I thought it was just tigs sensitive to water conditions like that. The lfs I got mine from had a really high 7pH so I put the juruense in my growout that also has a high pH. He was at that LFS for over a week. Should I move it asap?
