its supposed to be Submersible

Those ones are pretty good, however, I personally don't like submerging moonlights. It would be a cool effect if you could do that with single LEDs.

well.. i dont plan to fully submerge it in the water, i m just gonna stick it under the top right above the water so u cant see the lighting from the outside. im only using the submerging affect to protect it from splashing water..;)

i have a blu erope light that is 18' long so it goes along my tank 3 thimes.i have glass tops so it goes right through.it looks great with a light dim blue light.my tsn bgk and ck love it also i do cuz i can see them

I personally prefer these not submerged. With moonlights if you have a choppy surface the moonlight will play on the bottom of your tank. It looks great. having that in combination with a few singles that are submerged highlighting specific things would be the best.

i would stick with one color as the leds are very bright and it will create an unnatural effect with 2 colors. I use the bars with leds too and they look great. i dont think these 2led thingies will give that nice effect as the led light doesnt seem to spread that far unless you make it super bright in which case its unnatural again.

Stiff, it depends on what you are trying to acheive. A friend of mine has a 125, and wanted to bring out the blue colors in his silver aro. He didn't want to use all blue LEDs though. I set up his canopy with several single LEDs mostly white, there were I think 10 white leds and 3 blue. You always place a white LED in front of the blue, and then the blue LEDs will be hidden, but still cast their color. IMO blue LED moonlights already don't look natural. When you go with the singles you can make dark areas, and brighter areas. This will give you fish some option with where they want to be.

From the pictures I have seen blue doesnt look too bad, but I guess it depends on intensity too. So does anyone have any good or bad to say about this type of lighting:?

Also, does anyone have any pictures of the white? or does it just look like typically lighting just not as bright?
