Moorish idol info wanted

well my 14 day gaurentee is over now...but the good news is the moorish idol, purple tang and scribbled angelfish are doing fantastic....
 
The moorish idol and purple tang went into the display tank yesterday... they have a 1/2 grown orbic batfish as a tank mate... they are eating great and enjoying the 7 foot x 2 foot tank... scribbled angel to follow them in about a week

????????? what do you mean by your last post??? fish just came out of qt and into the display tank and are doing great and have been since day 1 for the moorish idol and day 2 for the purple tang...i dont get your meaning in your last post??????
 
1 MONTH UPDATE

The moorish idol is still doing great.. eating, fat, happy, and growing his streamer longer.. the purple tang and scribbled angel are doing well also.. I still owe you pics.. got cammera back from repair shop and it is not $$$ feasible to repair and wife has a birthday comming up soon so we will have a new camers by the wifes birthday since i now know what to get her for her birthday present... just bare with me and ill get you the pics i owe you i promise

not understanding the bible reference, perhaps you meant holy grail.. but happily awaiting pics :D
 
Hi, i'm also looking for info like yourself. I have had my Idol (Minuu) for almost 1.5 yrs and he eats everything i offer. I have a 700ltr tank with approx 130kg live rock and am not doing anything special or different in terms of water filtration ( just a skimmer). Until i find more info i'm coming to the conclusion that it is luck of the draw. Sorry i can't offer you the info you are looking for.
 
Zanclus cornutus are usually quite a hard species to keep...I know a few whom have had success with these, however, i know more which have failed.....Most deaths are due to poor shipping, starvation, and by the time they get to the hobbiest, they are too far gone..Glad your having success with it..
