I would have to say labiatum[true red devils] are a little more aggressive than midas even though midas attain a larger size, they are both super nasty but labiatum is meaner for sure and they also develop those huge rubber lips and are truly red in color as adults a very cool fish for sure.

Id go with a red devil.they have a much nastier temperment even tho they look similar to a midas cichlid.

I agree, though they are virtually identical I prefer Midas. As for aggresion, I don't think one species is more aggresive than the other, it's really gonna come down to the individual fish's personality.
