hey guys i need help, my girl lost her job and the electric bill and water bill is killin me, i know im stuck with the water bill cuz im not gonna cut back on water changes but is there anything i can do to cut down electricity, i am currently running a 10, a 29, 2 55"s and a 125, if i cant do anything i may have to cut back to just one 55 and the 125

ok so im gonna try the room light only on everything except the 29 cuz its planted i may have to change that cuz its a diy light system with lots of wattage, mostly aquaclears and danner supremes for filtration, are canisters more efficient? as far as heaters go ive got tons of different brands and watts
im also gonna call electric co and see bout getting put on budget, as far as water goes i guess ill just quit showering! just kidding
i have a large sponge filter that i always use as a tank cycler, run it in existing tank for a few weeks then into the new tank, might try it out
talk to your lfs and see how they run multiple tanks. they need to be efficient to be profitable...
