more fun PETA madness!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Do they really believe they're going to stop a fur trade that's be around since the beginning of man?

I can understand being against it, but just stand your ground and don't act like an idiot..

People are going to want to wear animals it's just the way it is :WHOA: so if we got tree farms, fish farms etc... why not a fur farm? sounds like a proper way to mantain your livestock and not ruin the wild habitat population of critters.

I really don't like iilegal activity and vandalism when it comes to activism. The more respected activists don't resort to these tactics.

People who wear fur don't care it's from an animal, no one is that stupid. However if it has to happen there should be specialised breeding farms. They could even breed the best quality fur then. The article was written quite one sidedly i think. Just to straighten out, im against the use of fur (especially of endangered animals- due to hunting for fur usually) but, it won't stop. It may grab headlines for a while, but i'm sure they could think of something better than red paint and be a bit more pro-active.

I totally agree. half the world might be on their side by now if they just didn't do such nutty things and had much better PR....

BTW i'm not trying to sway anyone with the srticles on that website. I was only showing the video.

I don't like fur, considering the fact that it's completely pointless. we have synthetic materials better and even warmer than fur now. it's just unecessary killing, and I hate unecessary killing of anything.

They're a terrorist organization that I will never support (no matter if I agree with the issues or not). They need to seriously reconsider their methods if they ever want any credibility. There are more civil ways to get their voices heard.

I know.

I seriously think they may be brainwashing people there.

2 points:

1) I don't think that PETA stoops to "terrorizing" people to achieve their agenda. They certainly have members that perform criminal acts of varying degrees to achieve their goals, but instituting terror among the masses is not one of them. Let us call them criminals but save the name-slinging for the brainwashed.

2) Any proof of this brainwashing? And I'm glad you "seriously" think this, rather than just half-assed thinking. Trust me, it shows.
