In that first picture, that nile monitor is morbidly obese. No doubt about it. Now a wild nile, you would be able to se a fold of skin, thats a healthy nile.

Your in control now but when is grown your not gonna controle it anymore;) but im sure you already know that

I wouldn't call it morbidly obese...the problem with your reasoning is that you assume that all wild monitors are healthy when you see their skin folded and whatnot, which I doubt is true. Have you worked with wild nile monitors before?

I have not worked with big nile monitors before, but I have with ones a foot long and 3 foot water monitors. I can only find over weight captive nile monitor pictures so I can't show you an example of what I'm talking about. They should not be a pot belly like that, they should be skinny long lizards. At that size, the lizard can barely walk. Its a type of animal abuse that is often over looked.

Most of those guys have an hourglass figure to them. Beside that picture is from the London Zoo in 2005.

You know, I don't get it. I guess it could be used to beat ignorant b*st*rds with....

Haha... I am guessing you never listened to a novice violin player. It sound like a banshee from hell. Far... far worse than a beating.
