This is a great example of why you NEVER ship a Restricted Species to states where they are illegal. Period
Alot of vendors including myself have the policy that the customer is responsible for any fines incurred from Shipments of fish. That is a company policy and not a State policy. If a company ships an illegal species to a restricted state they are going to get in just as much trouble as the customer. Pleading Ignorance of the law is no excuse and will not hold up in any court in the US for the Customer or Vendor.
It is not worth the risk to make a few dollars.

If you ship with a shipper and the species is going to an illegal state, As soon as the shipper crosses the state line they are in violation of that states laws. They will get busted for transporting an illegal specioes in that state. Guess who they will come after for to pay for their fines. YOU not the customer.
