Is your tank cycled? What is the kH of your tap? Do you overfeed? Is there detrius build up in the tank or filter?

yes the tank is cycled i've had it up for 2 years and no drift wood what is kh
no i dont over feed well i think i dont i only feed a pinch of flake food in the morning and once at night

kH or more precisely alkalinity is the ability of the water to resist pH change by acid. Nitrification uses up alkalinity... water becomes more acidic...pH drops.

Do you check your ammonia and nitrite levels..

If your gravel bed is deep try this... take a stick of some sort and dig down into the bottom of your gravel and stir it up a little. Do you smell rotten eggs?

nope no egg smell i cheak my ammonia its 0 i dont have a kit that doze nitrite levels of kh

Is your filter an Emporer 400?

Any rocks in the tank? If so take them out. Have you ever gravel vacuumed? Your filter IS clean? No live plants... no driftwood. Hmmm...

Take a water sample to your LFS and ask them to test Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and GH-KH-Ph for you they may.

You may need to use the baking soda to stabilze your pH.

Another Idea is crushed coral. It worked for me really well.... actually... too well, now my ph is 7.2 hehe (whoops)

I had the same problem as you, my tap water is originally acidic like 6.6

just add some crushed coral and it should help.

Another thing to try. If you have an airstone and pump put it in the tank or put tank water in a container and put the airstone in it to bubble... test the pH in a couple of hours.

yes the filter is a emporer 400 and i vacuum the gravel every week when i change 50% of the water i have a small air stone strip about 6 inch my ammonia is .5to 1.0 i have about an inch of gravel up to 2inchs some places i have used baking soda befor but i was trying to find out what is lowering it the ph that is
