Oh by the way, here is the tiger shovelnose they are selling. Not sure what species though, none I've ever seen. If it isn't a shovelnose (I think it is) please ID.

Looks like a Soribum lima to me. but the quality of the Picture isnt great, so maybe im wrong.

So your not willing to spend less then an hour per week to patronize the better business? poo on you :thumbsdow

Looks like a firewood cat from that picture. So it will only get 60" 55 should be fiiiine.

I had a Lima and his nose was different but he was also alot bigger so maybe its just because he is young

Sorubim Lima or elongatus? I'm thinking about getting it but if it is a TSN or firewood cat then I'm screwed. Let me see if I can use PS to get the quality up then I'll repost it.

So let's take a vote here.

Who says Lima sp.
who says firewood cat
who says TSN sp.

of it is a sorubim species I think I'll get it (grow out) otherwise I won't. Worst comes to worst I buy thinking its a Lima and end up with a firewood, then I buy a massive stock tub or indoor pond for it.

. Just because I like to test their staff's knowledge I called back a girl and asked her what tank size (just to see if they were well informed since I know300 is absolute min with bigger being better). She said "Well I've never seen one bigger than 10 inches" So I'd say a 55 Gallon. I busted out laughing and the girl just walked away being angry that a customer knows more than her. .

So you just hang out waiting to make someone look stupid. Then laugh at them. sounds pretty rude to me. Looks like you have some growing up to do and some lessons to learn my friend.

1. People are always more important than fish.
2. There will always be someone that knows more than you.
3. Treat others how you want to be treated.

I never understand why so many people jump on these threads. I guess it makes people feel better about their own inadequacies
