where I lay my hat
I wanted to show off a couple of my fishes. I snapped these photos today and thought members here might want to check these out.

Phoxinus oreas (Mountain Redbelly Dace)
and Pteronotropis welaka (Bluenose shiner)

I agree, I love the natives. I had darters for awhile but the water got too warm.

I saw them on the other forum but will comment on them here, fantasic photos. Really makes me wanna get in the water though I won't be finding either of them where I live.

Man I REALLY want some MRBD. I have been in love with those ever since I saw them on NANFA...that reminds me I haven't been there in way too long.

Nice pics of some beautiful fish Teleost! You and I should get in the water again in the near future. I have some OSS for you if you want them too.

Sounds great Duckman. I need some OSS for a local nature center. I'm hurting to get in the water this weekend and hope the rain isn't bad between now and then.

Nice vid Skipjack. I need to ask you a few private questions about that.

Dace are great fish...really active and colorfull..nice pics too...

I wish more people would get into natives. I think it is a lot of fun and very interesting to net your own.
