i could do it myself but hes a friend of mine and he said he will help. he is also an eletrician. most homes do use 15amp breakers the run on 14/3 wire. but when i installed my new breaker box i found that some of the wire in the basement was 12/3 which can run a 20amp.
just the 500w heater alone pulls 4.5 amps. each mh was pulling 2.7 X 2 thats 9 right there. i think the actinics were another 3 total. plus 2-4 amp for misc pumps. and i didnt even have the calcium reator pump running or the gfo pump. but the heater is the most.
a 15 amp breker can only hold 12 amps continuous. a 20 can do 17
