A WELL REGULATED MILITA, BEING NECESSARY TO THE SECURITY OF A FREE STATE , THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BARE ARM'S ,SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED .... the word RIGHT is misused here imo.. it should be ABILITY.. and the word INFRINGED meaning not to transgress or exceed or violate.... but how ever you word it there it is in plane english american's have the choice to own or not to own firearm's ................................ if your going to change this part of the constituion then you mite aswell throw the hole thing out the window and start over ... Imo american's of LEGAL status should be give the choice to own or not to own a firearm's for sport and home/bussniess defense! etc . there should also be mandatory gun education/safety in middle and highschool student's Imo if they can learn about sex and the effect's of drug's on them and there community why not gun's too?? the best way to keep your kid's from touching your rifle's beside's lock and key is to bust them upside the head with the butt !!! '' now do you wanna play cowboy's and indian's with daddy's gun's..? '' my dad did it to my brother(13) and me(9) when he found out we got the key's to his gun chest and played with them , good thing my father had them all unloaded. it scares me to think of what could have happened that day.. GUN'S DON'T KILL , IDIOT'S WITH NO EDUCATION KILL!.......

As soon as you take guns away from the common man you are inviting your government, or corrupt individuals within your government to abolish all your individual rights. Also if your refer back to WWII the Germans disarmed the Jews 2 years before they started their massacre, if they common man (Jew) would have been armed it would have made Hitler's reign a lot more difficult.
I was in Lwas Enforcement, now in private sector, I do not live in the perfect world you describe, I live in the REAL world. Come outside and visit some time.

Then why even bring up your point if we obviously do not live in a "perfect world" we are in the real world, so your point is invalid

, I'm aware that in the real world there are criminals with guns that kill people, etc, etc, blah blah blah. Just trying to say that it is not your constitutional right to have a gun. yes and their creation is why you still enjoy the rights in this country that you do. History has shown that man will use what ever is available at the time to kill other men.. I believe swords and crossbows were used in midevil times shoud we make them illegal after firearms? Then maybe spears and finally large stones. Or how about cars those surley shoud be illegal it is way to easy for some nut to decide he wants to run people over. point is as long as there is a will there's a way people will use whatever is at arms length.. impossible to get through to some people like you. Go on with having your guns. I just don't want to see anybody post up a story in the lounge about somebody shooting somebody else. Human beings can't be trusted with weapons, bottom line.
