Most aggresive Fresh water cat fish???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Whoever wrote the wallago article greatly sensationalized; I've had pseudo-first hand experience with both wallago species and they are, for the most part, unassuming. When offered food, most fish will attack with gusto, however, this does not necessarily equate to aggressiveness, as the fish will not go out of its way to dismember tankmates, if any.

The top of my list consists of various hemibagrus/ cephalosilurus species.

I'd say the candiru's. Anything known to swim up a urinary track to eat has got to be a viscous mofo. Although the Ceptosis Blue shark whale cats are pretty untame themselves.

I would say this.....

none of the fish suggested are as aggressive as this. Hemibagrus (Mystus) Wyckii, Crystal eyed catfish.
