Mentzer,
Cancel my last. I found the Platynematichthys Notatus on planetcatfish. I have seen them before and are definitely on my wish list as is the Lophiosilurus alexandri. Two very cool cats

Red Tails are pretty rad. Mine eats anything that gets near it. Also the Asian Dog eater, don't know the scientific name, But after that s.o.b. got about a foot or so it would destroy EVERYTHING!

H longifillis, are not that hard to find, i had one about 15 years ago, cost me 3 pounds, come from holland. seen them at pier years ago too.
There is a huge H longifillis at Blue planet aquarium, easy 36", had my hand in its mouth at one point, but thats another story. Id go with ARTC for out and out wickedness, heard of a 18' one killing a 24" rtc.

Definately the Red Tail Cat; no contest. Those things will eat anything and everything no matter what the size. I had one that not only ate every one of his tank mates but also swallowed a few tank decorations. The appetite of these fish cannot be described.

Hemibagrus wyckioides (asian rtc) followed by H. wyckii (crystal eye catfish). Both phenomenally aggressive. I had a baby wyckioides (~7 inches) in a 240, and he needed a separate tank... tankmates included a pair of festae (6 and 5 inches), pair Hemichromis fasciatus (5 and 4 inches), P. Loisellei (7.5 inches), and a few other rough customers. He regularly evicted the cichlids from their spawning sites, literally fighting them 1 on 2 and just beating them out of their caves and consuming the eggs. The amount of damage these catfish can do is insane.

My jau is the most aggressive catfish I have had to date. Not really for it bothering it's tank mates so much as it's feeding behavior. I'd love to add to this debate by keeping other aggressive catfish, but so far this one is my most aggressive. Again mainly for it's feeding habits. Doesn't have the sharp teeth of others listed here, but ripped a few q-feeders in half while rolling around the tank sucking them up like a fish tornado. Reminded me of a snakehead when feeding.
