Most aggressive aquarium fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
H. Aimara , display their hostile temper even when juveniles

Actually its the zambizi aka bull shark, that's the most agressive shark :). They eat anything and everything, also they are responsible for the majority of attacks/deaths of humans. But sharks are perfect, ancient, predators, and should not be owned by anyone other than aquariums. Just like most overly dangerous fish. Anyways, I'd go w/ flowerhorns. I'm no expert, but I've seen one try to repeatedly attack a person through the tank! Seems kinda silly for a fish to smash itself, to get to someting ouside the tank. But that's my vote!

Alpha male convict, mine is five inches long and killed to pecocks double his size. Sadly I getting rid of him his two mayes and their four surviving babies in order to get some fish with color. Every fish I bought was killed within a day with the exception of my bichir and pleco

From my personal stock( covering 21 years)

Black Shark
Blue gourami(against same size fish)
Texas/Jag hybrid
Breeding convicts

Thank goodness no one has posted an Oscar

Black Shark is one of the meanest fish around and can do some damage when big. Flowerhorns/RD's/Midas/Butti are in there as from my personal experience, but i'm sure there is others out there. To be honest, all cichlids are mean and it just depends on the temperment of the fish and who they are with for them to show their true meanest.
