They are illegal in all 50 states.
Any inquiries on how to obtain illegal species on here often results in infractions, or banning.
Through many years of owning fish the most aggressive species owned in a aquarium would have to be the Australian Pearl Arowana and a Serrasalmus Elongatus hands down!!!

Talipia Buttikoferri, these are one of the meanest fish i have ever kept once a year they seem to have PMT. I swear you can actually see the psychotic look come over the fishes face in one week my 13"er killed of a 16" Dovii, 2 12" Flower Horn, a 13" Red Devil and a 18" Black Pacu

In 25 years of Keeping fish i have never come across anything so mean.the dovi its there teeth.they punture the lips of other fish at even if the other fish are bigger.i have seen a wild full grown male in costa rica wow what a set ! iwanted to see if the badest could live in a big tank to gether f/h red/dev, dovi ,ect ,i was glad to get him out, ripped lips, his teeth would go right thro when they jaw lock about 8inch only a baby really .but again all fish have diffrent temperment he would just hold his ground if started on but that was enuf he probably would be worse or be more pushy if bigger.never kept a talipia or some of the others its not always abound teeth it ,some fish have just got that jack russel thing going on as well,my 4 inch nigranese puts all the others in there place if they mess will him lol, does hit and run does not care what size they are saw them in the river with the dovi to, does no damage tho just mind the eyes a......
i think if some of them are kept of simlier size in a large tank in a large group the aggression seams difused abit more /indavidual temperment!!!!!!!! but not always teethhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lol.....
i have jags f horn, red devil ,red terror(female) pikes,true parrot in same tank they get on very really,
