MOST AGGRESSIVE CICHLID?????

at the very top i would say:
dovii
umbee
black nasty
beani

in my experiance the most aggressive cichlid i have had is a jellybean convict - that is until my green terror kicked the s**t out of it. but the midas i have are still jeuveniles so who knows when they grow up........
 
plants?? what about big rocks and driftwood and clay pots... thanks to my red devil and jag.... but dovii is very mean

What type of agression are we talking about, food or territorial ?

If its territorial, then i nominate the african shell dweller

I had one wich would keep on biting through my whole tank maintenance routine, nets, hands anything that came near its shell`s would get hammered, and the fish are barely 1½ inch.
If they could be super sized, oh man...

Definitely a good one... Those ones are so tiny but they are horribly aggressive fish

3. Yellow banded severum(not so bashful as you think)

fight me all you want on it. my personal experience im basing this on.
