Next year I will be building a 500+ish gallon indoor pond/tank. I was planning on some big silver arows etc, but ive been thinking about how much heating the pond will cost in an unheated basement SO im looking into cold water monsters now! :headbang2

Obviously tiger musky and bowfin come to mind but what do you guys think are the most monster!?

The most aggressive cold water monster? I'd say get a Bluegill:headbang2

Everybody is like a SMB or a LMB AND a something....

I've known bass to pretty much devour, or at least try to devour any and everything. I like the idea of a musky.

im telling you all the blackstripe topminnow out here locals call them the 2" terror....vicious little things they are

any thing in the sunfish family (bluegill, sm bass, lm bass, rockbass, etc) are territorially aggressive, but pike and muskie are definately the most deadly. did anyone here about the poodle that got munched by a muskie? imo thats pretty BA lol

3 foot shell length snapping turtle. you'd be hard pressed to find any other native that can take off a hand

Such a thing does not exist lol. The record is 27" I believe.

are you refering to common's or alligators?

alligators get larger than 27" shell length right? 5' max total length.

commons are the smaller guys.
