snakeheads are illegal in all states, so why would someone suggest it?

Channa Maculata and Argus are both legal in MD, being that they are illegal to transport into the state, or in the state- and they don't naturally occur in Maryland, they are illegal.

in all other states every species of Channa are illegal. And MFK does not support the husbandry of illegal species, so if you do or decide to- don't post about it. We are watched and monitored by F&W.

I'm just throwing this into this thread, i'm not going to get into the pointless topic the OP posted.

Piranha or Puffer

a couple of jack dempsey, maybe some convict's,there are many to choose from.pick what you like according to how big they will get ,agressiveness, and so on.note just because you put what you think is the most aggressive fish ,doesn't mean it will be.even red devil's can be passive to other fish.(mine is not an example of that)but please get what you want, not what other people suggest.ie snake head, red devil, flower horn, ect.those fish will require at the very least a 90 gal.good luck in your hunt

GRAMMODES

A pair of salvini or grammodoes would be my second choice for sure

Why the hell would you put a Snakehead in a 55 gallon? You might as well kill it.
They are illegal so this is a bit off topic

But why not put a SH in a 55 theres a number of species that would do just fine in there Dwarf, rainbow, chinese ( for a while if not life) golden, baram, The real dwarf SH bangka which usually stays under 5''-6'' , spotted , ceylon another tiny one usuallly staying under 5'' if even, black , panaw, I think thats all of them

pirrahna, giant african clawed frog or a 55 pound cat fish eating machine
