Ive always thought about rigging a harness with a hook (not through the duckling) for bait. I once saw a ]v[onster LMB slowly swim up to a duckling and just suck it under!

thats cruel. i hate these "oh lets see what else we can feed to my fish" videos. they are just disgusting.
i dont see how its any crueler than like a mouse or rat or something

Well I think that its cruel to feed a live rat to a snake and watch the life squeezed out of it and I think that alot of people would agree but with a pinkie if it gets swallowed whole then its not suffering. And one time I feed my salamander a live pinkie and thats a thing that I will never do again. It was not swallowed whole and I can tell that it suffered. Also if they had thrown a live rat in there It would have been just as cruel. IMO anyways
Also when people do buy ducks or chicken to eat the usually dont eat them when they are still alive, feet first, Making several tries to get it into their mouths. Sooo.... I just dont see how it is the same. LOL but maybe some people do!!

That was kind of sad because I use to raise mallards, of course I also duck hunt, lol! Still, that duckling was too big for that aro to eat/dispatch properly.

this is ridiculous. animals eat other animals. its nature. big friggin deal. people that keep monster predator fish have a responsibility to care for that animal in the best way possible. im sure an arowana in the wild would eat a duck or any other bird if it had the chance, so what the big deal?
and for crying out loud, humans eat ducks too!!!!!!!!!! you just see it when its already served on your plate. how come people dont complain about feeding live crickets or worms? do you only have a problem because the duck is cuter than a cricket? give me a break.
and for the record, i fully support PETA -----People Eating Tasty Animals
