Most desired ca sa cichlid

Just looked up the zebrina, thats a cool looking fish ice seen one before...

I would love to be able to have a pair of gorillus umbee, never knew about umbees until I joined MFK...very desirable on MFK n very worthy of that...

Most desired as in the most popular/common in the fish hobby, or as in the one desired by many but hard to find? I ask because I'm guessing by the way you phrased the question, you're not simply asking everyone what their favorite fish is.

If it's which fish is desired but rare, I would say Geo. Winemilleri, but perhaps that's only because I'd been hunting for them on the Internet for quite awhile and until recently they were hard to find. During my searches, however, I did see a lot of people here and elsewhere wanting them.
 
Well when you ask about the most desirable cichlid out there of course people will say the one they desire most and thats cool with me because it fits the question..as far as popular and common, not too much so for the simple fact there are definetly people out there that love convicts, oscars, dempseys etc...
The motive of this quesrion was maybe spark a thrill in me as to what fish I want to keep and breed next...

If I had a tank big enough to house an umbee I would definetly be on MFK yelling Umbee Power all over the place lolol...A lfs by me has nandopsis beanis for sale 2.5 inchs for 28.99, never had a beani but would love to get some someday

I was also confused.

Is it personally most desire the each individual or the hobby in general?

I think in the hobby the main thing right now is the umbees, festae and dovii. Not rare fish but its what most would WANT to have.

Personally i would love an ultra blue dovii.

The question is how ever you take it and thanks for answering both ways...the only thing about blue doviis is they take forever to show blue but once they do its a wow factor like the festae
