I'd love to have a Paratheraps zonatus. I'd also love to poop in a gold toilet. Neither will happen without a new house. Another interesting question is What fish would you most like that could be housed in a 4' tank? One with several members of the Thorichthys genus would rock. So would a pair of polleni (oops, not SA/CA).

Oscar95 Discovery or House of Pisces are bound to be able to order you a festae in if you dont all ready have one.....I would really like a male dovii but just dont have the tank space
What I always wanted was a breeding pair of festea and it took over a year but I got it . But sadly only lasted about six months came home 2 weeks ago to find her dead and the male chasing around there 2nd batch of fry around the tank .

As far as most desired, I've got a few to list off, getting along with their tank mates and providing the appropriate housing is stopping me from getting the following; in no particular order:
vieja zonatus
amphilophus lyonsi
cichlasoma festae
parachromis motaguense
vieja argentea
Just to name a few, lol
The list goes on and on but those guys are definitely near the top and I'm not sure what #1 is.

My most desired is a Festae. There are none around where I live (that I know of, but the only lfs is jack's aquarium.. not really anything else). The most bought fish; however, is probably a convict. A lot of beginners where I live buy them because they won't really outgrow the starter tank. Oscars are probably second just because they usually have so many cool markings when small so it catches the eyes of many.
Festae and Umbees are definitely the hot fish right now, but I'm not really into them. Here is my list:

Ive only heard of the istlantum and myseri, definetly going to look the other ones up...one of my lfs just got some myersi in but I dont have any room for one...
