Most difficult to keep species ......

I do remember now that i couldn't keep kissing gouramis for longer than a week. i didn't care enough for them to really try, but someone bought a pair for me as a gift and i had to replace them so the person wouldn't feel bad. but i just gave up after the 3rd pair

With tropheus dubiobsi i've always been scared off - sensitive to water quality, food, temp, everything, or at least that's whats been told to me. I've always wanted them but have never been brave enough to try again. I don't think mine ate a thing.

I will never try Oscars again. Every single time I try, Hole in the head disease... GAH! And I maintain good water! Every time I look at a picture of someones Oscar I look for Hole in the Head. I usually find it, even if its just the early signs.

Synchiropus splendidus

Realllllllly easy to starve these fish to death.

Only eat copepods and amphipods, and its hard to maintain a good population of those in a small reef tank. My most recent try has been going great so far. Still plenty of pods and he has a huge belly. Going on month 8 now.
