How do you tell a male from a female bn pleco? I'm thinking about breeding bn plecos and anglefish. Could i breed them in the same 125gal.

the angels might eat the baby bns if you dont take them out... but if you move them to another tank you should be ok 
females have bristles too.. but males will develop them up their head.. females is just more around the outside whereas the males will have a strip going up towards their "forehead"

i wouldnt count on making money on any fish people get for under 10 dollars.
some easy saltwater fish would bring in some cash, like clownfish.
However, The store should be willing to buy them at a good price(without you getting the feeling of being robbed after that deal). Sometimes stores hesitate to take valuable fish as they are not sure if they can keep the fish alive(same goes for aquatic plants).sostoudt;3350700; said:

btw i assume your refering to the discus, clownfish are bullet proof almost as good as damsels.
personally i would be more inclined to do discus as they seem to not have caught on much and i like something different, although i could probably make a decent amount on clowns as there are atleast 3 saltwater mom and pop store near me.
